Lycan Lore is not your mother’s type of love
story. Published in 2007, by Amber
Quill Press, author Shannon Leigh brings us a steamy short story (when
I say
steamy, I mean while reading the .pdf version, my computer screen
fogged
up!) that introduces us to Cassandra, a
young woman with a bachelor’s in psychology, and her quest for love.
While
camping amongst the Redwoods and Sequoias of Northern California, she
finds
much more than she bargained for.
This stunning
erotic short is rife with provocative imagery, absorbing dialogue, mind
blowing
action, hot sex—I needed a cigarette after reading this!—and an
intriguing
theory that is distinctive in the lycanthropic world. It is with
obvious care
that this story came to life, with sex scenes that do not seem tripe or
forced.
I genuinely look forward to part two of this story.
