Dance in
Shadows
Book
9 of the Incognito Series
Karen Wiesner
This series has been full of excitement and never ending drama. I love the passionate romance that goes on between the main characters of each book as much as I enjoy reading about their unique situations and places among the Network chain of command.
Angelo Pluzetti is second in command within the Network. He has worked his entire life since joining this organization to get to the top. A lot of his underlings see him as a fearless man who does what he needs to do in order to help the Network thrive and stay safe from the terrorists that are forever trying to destroy it. What most of the operatives don’t know is that he has a special place in his heart for Dr. Celine Savage. He brought her and her brother Hunter to the Network after their parents were killed.
Celine has always been different than everyone else within the Network. While most are able to shut down their emotions and do their job, Celine is constantly fighting her often times out of control emotions. They go from one extreme to the other and back again. She is very self destructive.
When Celine does something that almost ends her life, Angelo is forced to make a choice. Either watch the woman he is in love with wither in front of his eyes because he continues to deny her his love or take the complete opposite approach and give her so much love that she never again questions whether or not life is worth living. Either way could prove immensely dangerous, not only to their hearts but also to the Network itself.
Karen Wiesner once again holds nothing back with her skilled knack for hitting her readers right in their hearts with love so fierce it loves your breathless. Her character descriptions are amazing. You cannot help but admire each and every one of them.
This book
could be read solely without reading the other eight in the series,
although
you will have a better appreciation for all the characters if you read
the
series from the beginning.
